Experience “only in Yamagata” styles of clothing, food, and shelter

all in a tasty space.

The producer of this unique place is Sato Seni, an established spinning and knitwear manufacturer founded in 1932. In a renovated 100-year-old stone storehouse, a showroom gathers domestic and overseas fashion brands including original knitwear, a lifestyle shop exhibits products made by artists from Yamagata, and a restaurant provides the rich flavors of the prefecture for lunch, café, and dinner time. It’s a carefully selected compilation of Yamagata-related clothing, food, and shelter.

A select shop whose display of an old spinning machine grabs attention. Its selection of high-end brands from domestic overseas labels is overwhelming.

One of its original brands, MKYOKO’s stole (19,440 yen each). Using fuga, a material knitted with the world’s thinnest mohair yarn, it is designed to create a colorful and gentle look.

Sato Seni yarn (500 yen~). The lifestyle shop’s lineup offers colorful tones, high volume yarns, and other products which have a strong presence. Around 40 kinds of yarn are always exhibited, which make us feel like knitting.

GEA LUNCH SET (1,620 yen). A hearty lunch set with an appetizer that uses organic vegetables grown by contracted farmers in Sagae, pasta using fresh seafood, and other tasty delights.
