A shop which uses its whole space to showcase the wild beauty of orchids.

A specialty shop for native orchid species that have particularly wild looks. There are about 300 kinds of epiphytic orchids in the shop, displayed using not only pots but also a sneaker, pieces of wood, and even a skateboard. Such novel displays and the graffiti tags on chairs and walls drawn by the owner Yoichiro Uchida creates a perfect vibe for browsing in the space, and seizes passersby with curiosity.

Art pieces are displayed in the béton brut shop. Currently, the space for orchids is partitioned by frames with plastic sheets.

Posters and bags decorated with graffiti by the owner and artist Mr. Yoichiro Uchida are also on sale. Check the Instagram: @placerworkshop.

Plants are also displayed outside of the shop. Besides orchids, plants from Australia such as Banksia are also sold here.

The shop used to be a room in an apartment. The shop entrance is the back side of the apartment. It is recommended to check the location in advance.
