Shimayasaishokudo Thi-anda 島やさい食堂 てぃーあんだ

This restaurant is in a remodeled house at a seaside part of Yomitan-son. Thi-anda in the restaurant’s name means “grease of hands” in the Okinawan dialect. As the name shows, the owner Kiyoka Inami provides carefully prepared set meals. Meals full of goodness using local fish and vegetables are served on Yachimun pottery of Yomitanzanyaki. You can experience simple homemade tastes that you can rarely eat even in Okinawa.

Reservation is required for the dinner menu Kokutan Gozen (3,780 yen). This popular set menu is served on one tray with many dishes which vary by season.

One dish from Kokutan Gozen. Local vegetable tempura in a beautiful round blue plate stimulates your appetite.

Take a terrace seat and feel the wind from the sea while having a meal. Or enjoy the romantic mood after sunset.

Yomitanzanyaki large plates are displayed as interior decor. Have fun watching small mugs and talking with the owner about Yachimun pottery.
