Where is your favorite spot to stop by after work and so forth?

“Utau Inaho” in Yakuin is a hot Udon Izakaya (tavern). I cannot just pass by when I see its Japanese lantern sign. All the more after I drink. I even empty the soup from the fried cake of ground fish and burdock root, and go home to get a nice sleep.

What is your “soul food” that evokes good memories for you?

“Manhattan” of Bakery Ryoyu in Fukuoka. A crunchy donut with chocolate coating. I liked the American atmosphere of its packaging when I was a child.

What is a “must-see” spot for you in Fukuoka?

“Nexus World” in Kashiihama is a cluster of apartment houses made by famous architects such as Rem Koolhaas and Steven Holl. A must-see if you like architecture.

How did you feel when you used the Canon EOS M10 to take these pictures?

Actually, I have not touched a digital camera for 3-4 years. I was surprised with the high image quality although the body is so compact! I’m ashamed of myself for saying “a smart phone is enough for taking pictures”.
